Making soup is fun and always rewarding. What is better than a wonderful bowl of hearty soup on a cold, wintry day? But soups are perfect for any month of the year - not just the cold ones. This soup section includes recipes for hot soups, cold soups, and consommé. Cold and hot soups are fun, easy, and always delicious. They are one of my favorite things to make and I enjoy creating different soups during each of the four seasons of the year.

Soups are very versatile, and they can be rich and hearty or light and delicate. Soups offer so many possibilities and they are generally very easy to make. Why not make one today?

Chilled soups are not very common for home chefs. But be daring. Classic chilled soups like vichyssoise, gazpacho, and fruit soups will impress your guests at your summer party and leave them begging for more.

A consommé is a crystal-clear soup, rich in flavor made from a stock. It is cloudless because all impurities have been removed. It may be served as a soup, with or without a garnish; it is usually served in a cup. Are you vegetarian or do you have a friend who does not eat meat? Then try my vegetable stock which can be used as vegetarian consommé, it is simple and absolutely delicious.

Have fun making my soup recipes. They are the basis for a great meal, are easy to create, and most of the time, can feed an army!
