You might get a security warning message. (3) It gives you the option to say "yes" or "no". If you click on "NO", you will not be able to download Quicktime and therefore to listen to the sound clip. If you click on "YES" you are then accepting to download QuickTime. Basically, if you think that MacIntosh is a reliable company, you can click "YES".

5. A small window will pop up (5). Click on the "next" button to see a new window. Click on the "next" button again to see another window. Then you will see the agreement window. You may read the agreement and click on the "agree" button.

7.You will then be asked which version you want to download (minimum, recommended, custom) (7). If the only thing you want to do is to listen to some sounds and view some videos, the minimum version is sufficient. That is what you need to be able to listent to Louise's sound clip. So choose "Minimum" then click the "next" button.

8. Click on the "next" button to see the registration window. Nothing to do there, just click on the "next" button again and any next button until the end.

9. After the file has been downloaded, you can close the QuickTime web site window and go to the location where you saved the installation file.

6. Double click on the file that you downloaded. It should be named QuickTimeInstaller.exe.

7. The installer will take over from here. Proceed through the installation by clicking Next at each screen. You don't have to change any of the default settings unless you want to. You also do not have to enter a registration code. Simply click Next again.

8. Once you are through all of the screens, you will be able to watch the progress of your installation in a little pop-up window. When the bar is full, the installation is complete.

That’s all there is to it! QuickTime will tell you when it’s done and show you a sample movie if you choose. You are now ready to go listen to Louise's sound clip.

If you left the window with the project sound open throughout the installation process, you may need to click on your browser's Refresh button to reload the page so it sees that you now have QuickTime installed.
