The Culture and Traditions of Mediterranean Cuisine - UBC

Explore the cuisines of the Mediterranean basin, including France, Spain, Greece, Italy, Morocco and Turkey in this five-week program designed for home cooks of all levels. Each evening you prepare a gourmet multi-course meal with Chef Eric then enjoy your elegantly presented dinner with fellow participants. Travel on an exciting culinary journey of sunny Mediterranean cuisine as each night you explore the culture of another country. A sample menu may include tapas selections, Paella of Barcelona, Lamb Moussaka, Spanakopita, Couscous Marrakesh, Vegetable Tagine, Antipasti, Veal Saltimboca, Mucver, Mint Tea and Cerkez Tavugu. Each participant receives a chef’s apron and a booklet of the recipes prepared in class.
