Healthy Cuisine of the World

Healthy Cuisine of the World is an open door to the world’s culinary repertoire. This course is a celebration of different culinary traditions such as Japanese, Korean, Russian, Thai, European, Indian and African cuisine. Join us for six hands-on cooking workshops where you will learn to prepare balanced and healthy gourmet meals using modern and traditional cooking techniques. Topics will include sushi-making, tajines, modern French cuisine, and giant prawn and venison dishes. A special presentation on healthy eating will be given by a guest nutritionist from UBC’s Food, Nutrition and Health faculty. Course materials, a chef’s apron and five multi-course meals are included in the course fee. Register early as enrolment is limited.
