Chop | ||
Designates a small cut of meat taken from and including a part of the rib. The most popular forms of chops are pork, veal and lamb. The term can also refer to a way of cutting vegetables. Using a knife or a cleaver, make quick and heavy blows intended to cut food into bite-size (or smaller) pieces. A food processor may also be used as a chopping device. Chopped food is more coarsely cut than minced food. |
