Description:
This pork tenderloin recipe is roasted with turmeric. Tumeric is the root of a tropical plant related to ginger with a bitter flavor and bright orange-yellow color. |

Preparation:
Season the pork tenderloin, with salt and pepper. Add vegetable oil, mix well, and finally add the turmeric powder. Toss to mix well. Melt butter in a pan or in a roasting pan and brown the meat all around. Place tenderloin on rack in a shallow roasting pan. Fold the thinner ends under the meat itself. Roast, uncovered, at 350°F for about 25 to 35 minutes, or until internal temperature is around 160°F. Remove the meat from the oven and take out of the pan. Remove excess fat from the pan, and deglaze with the wine. Add chicken stock and cream. Bring to a boil and reduce slightly. Taste and adjust seasoning. Serve with roasted pork tenderloin and chopped parsley. |
