Izzara HistoryAt the end of the 19th century, a botanist named Joseph Grattau purchased the recipe of an alcohol dating back to 1835 and gave it the name of Izarra. FabricationIt takes about 15 months to produce Izzara. Four different parts are worked on separately before being assembled:
The liqueur has to mature for six months in a cask before it can be bottled. |
