Preparation:
Position rack in center of oven and preheat to 350°F. Cook the pie: In a large bowl, whisk all ingredients until smooth and pour into shell. Bake about 25-30 minutes, until filling is set. Sugar Pie is best served slightly warm or at room temperature. Make the Chantilly cream: Refrigerate mixing bowl and beaters until well chilled. Combine cream, vanilla, and sugar with an electric mixer on medium speed for 1 minute. Beat on medium just until soft peaks form, about 3 minutes. Do not over-beat.. Reserve in cooler. |
